Full Moon Photography Workshops

Overview:

Join me for an enchanting photography experience that celebrates the mystical beauty of the moon. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a beginner, this workshop promises inspiration, hands-on learning, and unforgettable moments.

Note: See “Specific Workshop Details” for current available dates/locations.

Key Details:

  1. Skill Levels: All skill levels are welcome! Whether you’re a curious beginner or an advanced photographer, I will tailor the content to meet your needs.

  2. Location: We’ll immerse ourselves in a picturesque setting, carefully chosen to maximize the moon’s horizon location. Exact meeting locations will be emailed in the welcome email.

  3. Hands-On Learning:

    • Camera Techniques: Learn how to capture the moon’s delicate glow. Understand exposure settings, focus techniques, and composition principles.

    • Timing and Planning: Discover the best times to photograph the moon. I will share tips on scouting locations and predicting celestial events.

    • Creative Composition: Experiment with foreground elements, silhouettes, and framing. Create images that evoke wonder and emotion.

    • Post-Processing: We will discuss basic editing techniques to enhance your moon shots.

  4. Equipment:

    • Bring your camera (any type works!) and a sturdy tripod.

    • A wide-angle or a telephoto lens is ideal for capturing the moon against the landscape. I use a telephoto 95% of the time.

    • Don’t forget spare batteries and memory cards!

Workshop Atmosphere:

Expect camaraderie, laughter, and shared passion. As the moon graces the horizon, we’ll celebrate its quiet elegance together. These workshops are all-season, but no matter if you’re sipping hot cocoa during a winter moon or an iced tea during a summer moon, these moments are sure to be memorable!

Policy on Late Arrivals / No-Shows / Cancellations

Please be aware that no refunds will be issued if you arrive late to your scheduled session or if you simply do not show up. It is important to note that often, the group does not remain at the initial meeting location. It would be quite unfortunate and disappointing if you were to miss the designated meeting time and place, as there is a possibility that we may have already proceeded to the shooting location without you. If you notify me at least 12 hours in advance, I will certainly make every effort to reschedule your session. If, for any reason, I am unable to attend the session you booked, you will be eligible for either a full refund or the option to reschedule your appointment to a later date. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Additionally, please be aware that weather-related cancellations are made at my discretion. It is worth noting that clouds can often add a remarkable depth and texture to an image. As a result, I rarely cancel shoots solely due to partial cloud cover.
